Deprive was created in 2013, as a solo project, from the ashes of another project called Qrixkuor, to explore more into darkness, occultism, satanism, esoterism and other weird themes. The idea was to do a darker and doomy approach in Death Metal. Alternating fast and low tempos, deep growls and an old school sound.
In the last of 2013, I recorded «De Vermis Mysteriis» demo tape, which was released by myself and only distributed in a few shops and mailorders.
Till you Fukkin Bleed, from Poland, offered me to release a tape with this demo and «Below the Shadows of Pestilence», which was done in 2009 with the name of Qrixkuor. The tape was simply entitled as «Deprive», and was out in 2014.
After some talks with Raúl from Memento Mori, he released the next two albums: «Into Oblivion» (2015) and «Temple of the Lost Wisdom» (2016), obtaining a big response in the Underground media as a project that can mix perfectly the old school sound of Death and Doom Metal.
Just after of it, and due to personal problems, Deprive fell in a hiatus. But I write some music from time to time for the next third album.
